NARS Unsung Heroes: Madly Blush - Makeup and Beauty Blog
A friend of mine who loves makeup but is terrified of chroma emailed a few days agone looking for recommendations for a blush that wouldn't leave her looking (and I quote) "similar a lady of the night."
Equally soon as I remembered how much she likes NARS, I thought well-nigh NARS Madly ($27).
It'southward one of those shades that I overlooked for way likewise long. Based on how calorie-free and uninspiring information technology looked to me in the pan, I always just assumed it wouldn't do much for my tan.
You'd call back I'd know by now not to guess a blush past its cover. Give thanks goodness I finally decided to give it a attempt. In a word: astonishing. AH-MAAAAY-ZING!
On me, I'd characterize it equally a peachy beige with pink undertones, simply NARS describes it every bit a warm, soft-focus seashell pinkish. I retrieve it's perfect for no-makeup makeup looks, and it even doubles as a sculpting powder for contouring cheeks.
It has a very subtle shimmer, besides — more like a sheen, really — that livens it upwards a lilliputian and keeps information technology from looking too flat.
But I think the best thing virtually Madly, though, is how great it gets forth with such a wide range of pare tones. It'south calorie-free plenty for pale pretties but pigmented enough for darker peel tones like mine. 🙂
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
